EXCITING NEWS!

so I'm finally, after months of conceptualising and prototyping, able to share with you my first mini collection. Creating this line has been an exhausting one man show, but the results sure are rewarding. Being the perfectionist that I'am came at a price because I ended up designing, sketching, sewing, producing (yes I can sew!), photoshooting and creating my final lookbook all by myself, which sure as hell wasn't an easy task, I definitely had my work cut out for me.

I created a sustainable fashion line that conceptually evolved from the meaning of the word "modesty" meaning simplicity, unpretentiousness and humility. The sustainability of the design comes from least possible material consumption, where the smart design is convertible.

So my consumer gets to buy one piece, and wear it in a multitude of ways, that are only limited by your creativity!

Hi Loves,

Here's my latest shoot for Kayali Jewelry's December social media campaign.
Art Direction, Photography and Styling all done by yours truly

Diamonds and high-end French cuisine, what more could I ask for?
This was hands-down one of the most fun shoots I've ever done, the most delicious at least! The lavish setting and fine catering were courtesy of La Capitale Amman located at the Four Seasons Hotel, and needless to say, it was the perfect venue for our luxury themed shoot.

The shoot was in celebration of Kayali's Annual Diamond Festival, and I had the pleasure of doing my magic, setting up the flatlays and waiting for that perfect "chocolate pouring" moment to snap my shot. And obviously, Chef Arthur's dishes were nothing short of heaven on my taste buds! (yes we did eat the dishes after the shoot)

Hi my loves,

So if you follow me on Instagram, you would have probably already seen this print by now, I just realized though, that I have yet to write a proper blog post about it! (monkey emoji with hands on face) #WhereAreEmojisWhenWeNeedThem

Okay, but for real though, this was one of the most fun collabs I've done because it was all about the art, and just the art. I got commissioned by Yislamoo to hand letter the beautiful Arabic word "Mashallah" (God has willed it).

And let me just tell you, I can never turn down any opportunity to be creative and artsy, but to have my work displayed and sold as well? SIGN.ME.UP

I wasn't expecting all the positive feedback the piece got, I mean I knew I liked it, I just didn't know people would respond to it so well which made my heart swell <3 (p.s. I didn't mean to rhyme)

So with out further to do here is the masterpiece. Ta Da!
Oh yeah, one more thing, I also did a mini interview which is on the Yislamoo blog, click here to check it out.

You can shop the Artwork here.

Good morning, afternoon, evening, whatever time of the day it is where you are beautiful person.
So for this blogpost I wanted to share with you one of the things I love doing most, Photography. Whether its fashion, food or still life, creating interesting compositions and playing round with shade, shadow and lighting is just refreshing to me, I could do it all day.

For those of you who don't know, I've been working as a Fashion / Product photographer for a German fashion brand in Berlin for the past six months and it was one of the most fun, enriching and unforgettable experiences I've ever had.

Fast-forward to today, I've been in Amman for the past five months now finishing up my bachelors and working on my graduation project (which is very exciting and I'll be sharing pretty soon I hope).

So I ended up compiling the majority of my photography work throughout the years into one editorial style/coffee table book that can also serve as my photography portfolio, and that is what I wanted to share with you guys today.

I hope you loves enjoy it, and it gives you a bit more insight about me and what I love to do.

with love xoxo

So loves, its been a while, I really need to get back into the groove of things. So you may or may not know that I recently got the chance to collaborate with Time Center and Calvin Klein to bring you guys my top picks from the new CK watch collection available at Time Center Jo.

The campaign was made with Mother's Day in mind, that was kind of the purpose. You could say it was like a mini Mother's Day gift guide and it launched on my Instagram about a week ago (I'm hoping you guys like the content ;) )

I honestly had so much fun creating the content, and having the creative freedom as to how I shoot everything and style/edit the shots was liberating. I off course couldn't but throw a little bit of hand lettering in there, my hands wouldn't allow otherwise. All in all shooting, playing with textures, layers and hand lettering made my heart so happy. These are the exact kind of projects I love to be working on.

I hope you loves are all having a great day so far
xoxo, Aya
